Any company that provides a tangible product will probably need warehouse space at some point or another. Even companies that provide intangible products or services often need warehouse space -- for example, an accounting firm might not be able to accommodate all of their paper records in their own office, and might look elsewhere for storage of important files. Warehouse space is more easily obtained in the United States than in many other industrialized nations, and is much less expensive for the space provided than office space.
