The most cost efficient forms of data storage are internal backups, which are backups housed on a separate drive within the computer, and tape drives which are external. Zip and Flash drives are newer, easier forms of data storage, but their costs are somewhat higher.
There is some inherent risk when data is stored online. However, with proper screening, a reliable, secure company can be found that will not only house, but maintain and protect data from loss, corruption, theft, or any other misuse.
The cost of storing your business’s data will be proportional to the amount of data, and how often your company will need to update and/or retrieve that data.
