Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is characterized by extreme fatigue that interferes with daily activities and does not get better with bed rest. CFS is a confusing disorder to both doctors and patients because it is hard to diagnose, has symptoms similar to other diseases, and currently has no cure. It is a very ambiguous condition that takes careful attention to detail and patience to identify properly and manage.
