A Hedge Fund is a lightly regulated investment, because of the amount of business that happens in offshore countries, and sometimes referred to as a limited partnership. Investors will typically join with others under a limited partnership and allow a hedge fund manager to make the day-to-day decisions about where the funds will be invested and used. Hedge funds investing sometimes happen in long investing and short investing functions.
