Car covers are good to use inside of your garage also for protection against chemicals and airborne dirt and dust.

When putting a car cover over your car or removing the cover from your car, roll the cover on and off.
Most car covers are able to be washed in a washing machine using a mild detergent.
Do not use fabric softener on car covers.
Never store a car cover wet.
Do not allow your car cover to drape over a hot exhaust pipe as it could melt the fabric.
